I was browsing through the net and i found something really funny...
Will like to share it with you...

How to stay awake at the office...

We've all had those days at the office. Those long days when no matter how much work we have stacked on our desks or how hard we try to focus, we can't keep our eyes open. On those days, we know we're not going to get much done, so we might as well have some fun.

There are a few tricks I've learned over the years that have helped me stay awake and appear busy at the same time.

One note:
I only recommend these techniques if your boss has a sense of humor.

The Paper Clip Chain
Everyone who works in an office has made a paper clip chain. It keeps our hands busy while our minds wander. But the key here isn't the chain itself. It's what you do with it.

You could fashion jewelry out of it-necklaces and bracelets, maybe even a pair of earrings-but then it would be obvious to your boss and coworkers that you aren't actually working.

Instead, hide the paper clips under a piece of paper while you hook them together. Make the chain as long as you can. When the person in the next cubicle gets up to go to the bathroom, replace all of his paper clips with the chain you just made. Then all you have to do is wait until he tries to grab one.

The Taped Drawers
If you've already done the paper clip trick, you might want to try this one out on a different coworker. As soon as someone leaves a cubicle unattended, make sure no one is looking, then make a beeline for the desk. Choose a desk drawer and place three pieces of transparent tape around the edges of it. Be careful not to use long pieces of tape. Otherwise, they'll be seen. When your coworker returns, watch as she tries to figure out how her drawer got jammed.

The Tech Team
When you get tired of messing with individual coworkers, you can waste at least a couple hours bugging the tech team. Make a list of everything that's wrong with your computer, then call the tech department and read the list to them. Act like it's the most important thing they could do all day. When one of them stops by to check out the situation, ask how to hook up the DSL on your home computer.

This works especially well if you have a friend in the tech department who will play along.

The Shredder
If your boss frowns on practical jokes and you're still having a hard time focusing, you could always run the shredding machine. Grab everything you have that can be shredded, then stop at everyone else's desks and ask if they have anything that needs to go. After you've gathered everything you can, feed all the papers into the shredder. Take your time. The longer you move around, the more alert you will become.

It's not a good idea to engage in these activities every day. You won't get any work done if you do and your coworkers will quickly get tired of you. However, they are good for a little boost once in a while. And remember, none of these tips will help your productivity, but at least you'll look busy.

If nothing else works, you could always take a nap in the bathroom.
Just got back from Penang...

Went to Penang for the weekend with the family...

For this...
Jason, I'm sorry I couldn't make it to your birthday party... I'm really really sorry...

Aunty Bella, uncle George and Krystle has left for Singapore already... once again the house is filled up with silence... mum will be in Singapore for one week too spending some more time with aunty bella before she returns to australia... *sigh* wish i could go too...

on friday, dila is getting married.. im soooo happy for her though...
well dila... congratulation...!!!

here is a little someting for you dila....

Adilah Ahmad Ghazi, my best friend since form 3. She was an enemy, a friend, and a shoulder. Sometimes we would fight; we would have little arguments but in the end it is always ends up with a big hugs. She is always there to hear me out and help me in many ways when I was down. When I first know that she was going to get married, I felt sad a little that she would be busy with her new husband and have no time for me. Then I realize that no matter what or who she is with that she will always be my friend and my best friend but deep down I was so happy for her that she has finally found the love of her life.

Back during school days, the three of us would discuss on how our wedding will be like and who will get married first. As usual out of the three of us I was the eldest, so they would argue and say that I would get married first. I would laugh until I cannot stop laughing and denying it. I always say that she would get married first. And now it’s true right Izzah? That was not the only thing we discuss during our free period but also the dates were going to get married. For me I never thought about the dates of when I would get married but only when I’m financially stabilized. For as Dila, she would write down her dates on when she will finish studying and also the dates that would be the same year for instance 20. 10. 2010. Hehehe. Well Dila. Your dream has finally come through where you got married yesterday, 08.08.2008. Just few days earlier. Hehehe…

Dila, Dolly and Dil are what we call her during our school days until today. Besides that she was the girl who helps me out in my Accounts subject back in the school days. She sits besides me for the pass last 2 years in high school, and we pretty much share a lot of things including thoughts on shopping stuff, girls stuff and also gossip about boys. I miss those days though Dil. I hope after this, we would still get a chance to do some catching up on all those. ‘Don’t worry Yassier, were not going to gossip about you… hehehe…’ She used to be the girl who carries loads of tissue paper in her school bag as she has sinus problems, so I had no worries if I didn’t bring a packet of tissue paper to school.

When the first time, she meet Yassier, she actually type out every single message from him, and remember every moment and from that moment, I realize that she is in love with him. Well, Dila… I’m really happy that you’re finally found the love of your life. Enjoy and cherish every moment together as you would not know when it will be the last. To Yassier, Dila loves you a lot and do take good care of her. Next will be children running around. I can’t wait though. Can I pamper your kids? Hehehe…

Anyway I think I shall stop. There is so much to say but it might take the whole night long. Dil, you’re a great friend and a best friend to me, I am sure that you’ll be a great wife to Yassier. May God bless the both of you with happiness and many children. Love you Girl.

yesterday night was supposED to be an early night out...
i was tired and also down with a flu...
but the cold that i had couldn't stop me from seeing pussycat dolls live @ coco banana...
even for only 15 minutes i enjoyed it very much...
seeing them for real for the first time...
i regretted not going for their concert as that time i was having my assignments pack up on my schedule...

besides that it was a joint event between Chivas and Kent... so it was like free flow through out the whole night... bloody drunkards... i myself drank quite a lot... *drunkard*
Baba was handling the event... I love the Kent designs which was black!! Oh ya not forgetting the cigarette boxes of Kent are luminous... It shines under the light... LAWA!!! hehehe...
Before the event even started, Chivas people were finding faults with Baba and his Gang! hahaha.. Baba was very angry!!! Poor him!!! Look so tired and stress!!! Chivas people so greedy until wants two rows of table which is right infront... STINGY brats! hahaha... Baba... next time decorate more kay!! don't care about anyone.. hehehe... Make it like your style!!
But the Chivas people decorate the area with balloons... I find the balloons so cliche...

sadly i had to get up for work today... i wish i could still laze on the bed like last time when i was in university...

there are disadvantage and advantages when we start work...

advantages
1. earn our own money...
2. shopping without burdening our parents...
3. no more class to attend...
4. no more crazy assignments...
5. our work our gain!!
6. experience!!!
7. you can skip class and ask people to sign...

disadvantages
1. have to wake up everyday to head to work...
2. cannot lay in bed...
3. no more easy life as in taking attendance and going back to hostel to sleep...
4. people judge you easily on your work to see whether you're good enough for the company...*hahaha*
5. you can't just run away!!! you have to take leave or MC... no running!

i think that's all i can think right now...
brain not working...and still sleeping...
and I'm currently at work and the boyfriend is fast asleep!!!

Baba... Thank you yah!!! hahahahaha...

went for the movie premier yesterday...

overall...
i say the movie was ok...
boleh la!~

have a go and watch it...

Before I even knew it, it's already te end of July... Tomorrow will be August already. Time flies so fast and it's going to be the end of the year in a flash.

Back from Langkawi and now back to work.
Holiday in Langkawi was awesome. I had a great time and i'm pretty sure the rest did too. Drinking water was extremly expensive there as the beer and alcohol was way cheaper.

We left for Kuala Perlis at about 12am on Thursday and arrived safelty at about 6am the next day. The ride was long and cold as I gave my jacket and stockings to Kristen on the bus. As soon as we reach Kuala Perlis, Astrid queued up to buy ferry tickets. It was a long queue and we couldn't get the first ferry in. We manage to catch the 8am ferry. The ferry ride wasn't exciting as it was VERY noisy. The noise of the engine was even louder than the people chit chatting in the ferry. I slept most of the time on the ferry. *me the PIG*

We were all excited to be in Langkawi and as soon as we touch the grounds in Langkawi, we started scouting for alcohol prices. *drunkards we are* :P
We had lunch at some city with not many people. It was very quiet. Yeah VERY! Unlike in KL it's full of people and cars. There in Langkawi was nothing. You barely even see loads of big group of people walking pass by.

We didn't get the van as they didn't have any so we decided to rent three cars and as usual the drivers were Hamish, the boyfriend and Fiona. The cars condition were bad enough as it is a rented car. Our car had so much problem as one of it is the streling wheel. It's like broken into half. The boyfriend was hoping that it doesn't actually break while he is driving. Hehehehe...

We wasted our time as we could only checked in to our resort (Malibest Resort) at 2pm. So we delay ourself. Everything is very slow around there. We walked around the beach. Its pretty. We sat by the beach while waiting for the rooms. The chalet was ok. Just nice la. Can't say it's a 5 star but for me as long there is proper place and it's pretty clean it's fine with me. Kristen and me decided to go for a swim but in the end it rain for a bit. So the boys decided to start drinking first. We followed to while chilling. Next thing you know that most of them went to take a nap first but not David, Kevin, James, Fabian, Me, Kristen, Steph and Zoey. We decided to continue drinking on the beach while waiting for the right time to go in.

The waves were huge!!! It practically will drag you together with it. I really had fun swimming and jumping around in the water. Kevin as usual was always trying to fight the waves with his super powers and David went swimming while he is half drunk.

The first night, we went for dinner along Pulau Cenang. We had western food. Was not really my time but no point in complaining as I will just go with the flow. After dinner we head back to the resort and we started drinking. I myself had 4 shots of tequila. Hehehehe... It was awesome. After that I watched the others as I am pretty satisfied with what I had and also I was freaking tired! David was gone! Fabian was gone too later. Next was Hamish... Kristen and Kevin carried on drinking until in the morning and they went for an early morning swim in the sea. The best thing was, Kevin went swimming together with his wallet and his phone. Yes his phone.. hahaha... The phone is GONE now. hahaha... According to Aaron, they look like a crazy couple jumping around trying to catch for the wallet in the water. Kevin say he thought it was a talapia fish swimming around them until he saw his picture in it then he realize that his phone was also in his pocket. I wanted to go to the Underwater World but sadly couldn't cause the boyfriend said it was under some kind of renovation but later on the last day I found out it wasn't but there was not much time left. *sigh*

Astrid and I woke up first and started waking the drunkards up. Next thing I know that I was in Kristen's room with David, James, the boyfriend drinking already. Kevin and Kristen was still drunk from the alcohol and also tired after the early morning swim.

Second day, we didn't do much as it was raining during the day and most of us went back to sleep until 4pm. That was the only time the rain stop. As soon as the rain stop we went straight to the beach and continue drinking. We took pictures and sadly I don't have a camera. We went swimming again! Hahaha... This time Astrid went too. She was a lil scared to go in but I held her hand and slowly walk her in. After the evening swim, we went down to town to have dinner. Seafood indeed! hehehe... Guess how much was our bill.... it was RM 65!!!!!! and we had prawns, fish, and sotong!!! damn cheap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After dinner, we continued drinking. yeah DRINK! ahahaha... this time, it was on the beach! but not many got drunk! This time was JAMES! It was funny though... I didn't sleep though... Steph, Zoey and ME sat on the beach with James trying to sober the drunkard boy up until 7.30am. The next thing I know is I saw two monkeys running towards us and the results was Kevin and Kristen... I followed them into the sea this time. It was freaking cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kevin was doing some kungfu stunts in the water to fight the waves... I only swam for a while only cause couldn't stand the cold. After the swim I went back into my room and sleep!! Hehehe...

Woke up at about 12pm, change room so we could extend it. I swear mybody was aching like a mad cow!!! serious!! damn painful!! After sorting out the rooms, we went for lunch along the roads. Then off to the duty free to shop! Yeah it was the only time left before we leave at night. After shopping, we went back into the sea for the last swim. hehehe... So sad we had to go back!

After the swim, we later found out that our flight was delayed till 12am.. For a minute my heart was like YAY! We didn't have to rush. But in the end we had to rush too as we were all taking our own sweet time to do everything. Dinner was rushing too. Most of them had to pack their food and then eat at the airport.

In the plane, when Kristen and I saw KL, I said 'Welcome back to the expensive city!' *sigh*

So that was our holiday!

*mind my english though*
*sleepy head typing it*

The weekend has gone again. It sounds so sad when I put it that way but I had a long weekend as I was on Medical Leave from Thursday. My migraine attacks my head since Wednesday night.

The weekend was known as the monopoly night at Wynton’s house. Before the monopoly game started, we played scrabble. Wynton came up with his own words as usual but in the end I won and the boyfriend a.k.a mr English didn’t win first but second place. Then the monopoly started with Wynton, Gerard, boyfriend and me. The first night when we played it we simply apply any rules and Wynton was draining all our money. First night the boyfriend went bankrupt. Then me and then Gerard.

The second night we played in Gerard’s house and yet again it was a good game and we didn’t cheat with our own rules. Wynton won again with less property. Fabian went bankrupt again and I conquer all his property. *giggles* Poor boyfriend.

In the end we came to a conclusion that playing monopoly can tensed each other up and also it is a stressful game. I don’t think will be playing monopoly anytime soon though. I guess it’s the boyfriend’s turn to buy a new board game.

And last but not least Gerard, the boyfriend and me went for a movie last night. We ended up watching Hell Boy II. I didn't really like the movie though. *Sigh*

Now it's back to work though.

Life as University students was always fondly remembered as one of the best times in a person's life...
No doubt, you'll feel the same way too...

A chapter of your life is ending…
it's time to say goodbye to classmates, lecturers, classes and labs...
exams, quizzes, burning the midnight oil mugging for exams, group projects…you name it..
being broke before the next allowance...
being carefree students, roaming around the faculty hallways...
having fun on campus...

11 August 2008... I'll be getting my scroll and wearing my 'square hat'....

To all my friends....
I wish you all the best in your life....
Thank you for the four years of fun and laughter through out my University life...
I'm going to miss each and everyone of you...
Do keep in touch with each other...
Will never know what will happen to each other... Maybe one will get married or another... hehehe...
Thank you again...
Love you all...
